This 2 step stairs is perfect for my little old fella Yorkie who has trouble jumping up on the couch. It took some encouragement but he's now using it, as his eye sight isn't the best. The 3 step stairs I tried first was too scary for him, so this well constructed and pleasing looking stairs is a great solution!
I bought this for my chiweenee to replace wooden 2-step stairs for the couch. He was having trouble pulling up from the floor onto the first step so I knew it was time to replace. Both steps are sloped so there is no hard wood to jump on. The first step is shorter and close to the floor so he easily steps up. The 2nd stair is a little wider and comes almost to the couch cushion. He just glides up and down the steps. Initially pulling the cover over the styrofoam steps was a little difficult but the styrofoam is flexible enough that I eventually got the cover on. Easy to vacuum and spot clean. Haven’t checked if it is washable but it has almost no wear and tear. Definitely recommend.
These stairs are very easy to use and it took my 5 lb Frenchie puppy one time up and down to learn how to use them. Highly recommend them as small puppies can break their legs very easily from jumping off of high places, so these stairs helped ease my mind.
